Made in Maryland Marketplace to Connect Artisans, Retailers and Farmers with Opportunities in Brunswick
The Frederick County Office of Economic Development, in partnership with Brunswick Main Street, is proud to present the first PopUp! Brunswick Made in Maryland Marketplace – an artisan market connecting local farmers, producers and artists with visitors during the 33rd Annual Railroad Days on October 1 & 2, 2016. Vendor applications are now open.
Approximately 30 people, including Maryland’s Secretary of Agriculture Joe Bartenfelder and other local and state lawmakers, gathered for a day long tour of Frederick County’s farms to hear about federal, state, and local issues facing the agriculture community.
The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) has increased marketing efforts recently with the launch of a brand new agricultural website called HomegrownFrederick.com and the redesign of the existing DiscoverFrederickMD.com, which aims to help businesses start, locate, expand and discover Frederick County.
