Looking to spruce up your landscaping or plant a garden? This weekend is the perfect time to support Frederick County High School Agriculture programs and purchase plants for gardens and flower beds.

The high school agriculture programs rely on their spring plant sales to fund agriculture education opportunities for their students throughout the year. Students spend their semesters learning about plant life cycles, growing needs and sales channels, which culminates with growing plants for the spring sale in high school greenhouses throughout the county. Due to the COVID19 outbreak, teachers have maintained the plants.  To assist with their sales, they have now donated their inventory to local organizations who support their programs.

Supporting these organizations will in turn help support the students during the next school year. Now, more than ever, it is important to support our local students and our future workforce development.
